Survey

A survey conducted to evaluate the current situation and  perspectives of students on women issues at METU. The survey  consists of 6 sections and includes 64 questions. It was  conducted with 124 participants from 26 various departments.

General Information

It has been observed that the  approaches, attitudes and evaluations  in all the themes researched on  women issues are highly positive. In  particular, based on the women's  responses and comments in the last  section, the impression was formed  that the culture of cooperation and  solidarity within METU is quite vital.

Saniye has a bachelor's degree in business administration from METU and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She is also board chairman of her company. Being a member of many non-governmental associations and organizations, Saniye considers sharing her experiences with young people as a part of her job by participating in career events as a keynote speaker.

Womensup is a service by KPM METU for high school students (candidate METU students), METU students and METU graduates which aims to create a women solidarity ecosystem that encourage and keep them in communication throughout their career planning. It also aims to enable women to learn by sharing their experiences, motivating others, and making their success stories more visible

Brand Logo

Aesthetic logo includes the intials of name of the app with pleasant color transitions from red to purple. The red tone symbolizes app's belonging to METU and the purple symbolizes women. The slogan, which is also a part of the logo, is the main goal and idea of the app

Brand Name

"Womens Up" as the name suggests aims to point out women going upper. The name says that this app is for women, about women
